BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION
LOUIS W. MCLEOD, PH.D.

Louis W. McLeod, Ph.D. has been in independent practice of psychology in Atlanta, Georgia for 30 years, in addition to working in mental health and alcoholism treatment centers.  His practice includes individual psychotherapy as well as couples therapy.  He and his wife, Linda McNeely McLeod, M.Ed., have conducted the Getting the Love You Want Workshop for Couples for over 20 years in which over 1000 couples have participated. 

Dr. McLeod has trained with Dr. Harville Hendrix and is a certified Imago Relationship Therapist for couples and individuals and a Certified Workshop Presenter of the Getting the Love You Want Workshop for Couples.  He is on the faculty of The Pine River Psychotherapy Training Institute, http://www.pineriverpsychotherapy.com/, in Atlanta where he teaches classes on couples therapy, group therapy, as well as on impasse and treatment failures. 

He is a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, the American Psychological Association, and Imago Relationships International.  He has been married for 28 years and has two adult children.
